I washed the tiles thoroughly, let them dry, sprayed them with stain-proofing, let them dry and then applied the cork pads.I had my doubts due to the rough texture of tumbled tiles, but am happy to say these cork pads are holding up like a champ!! They have a very strong adhesive and not one of the 16 coasters I made are showing signs of peeling.
