Folding it into a stool is also easy, and it works well in that capacity. My only concern is its height. I have to lift my vehicles a couple inches higher, but seems a small inconvenience for the added comfort. Edit/update December 2025: having used this creeper for several months now, and been under all our vehicles, it's height has become an issue. The creeper is rock solid, well made, but the height simply isn't working for me. I'm leaving my review at 5 stars because it is a very well made product, but I'll be selling this one and buying one several inches lower.
