But I have also never done a large scale project before. I knew I needed something to help when I was ready to start going bigger. I didn't like the idea of a split bar frame, as it seemed too easy for the wood to catch on the fabric and cause damage. I loved the idea of a Q-snap frame, but the set size was a limitation for me.This frame was the perfect solution. It has the snap on clips like the Q-snap, and the scroll frame durability and adjustability. It was so easy to put together and figure out how to use. I quickly had my fabric clipped where I wanted and ready to stitch. The excess is currently rolled around the bottom nice and snug, staying out of my way. I'm careful not to overtighten the knobs, but I've had no issues with them coming loose.
