I have enjoyed a lot of her novels recently, but unfortunately I didn’t get the same satisfaction from this one. Cassie believes she’s finally found her happily ever after. Joel is everything she’s ever wanted: charming, attentive, and utterly devoted. Their relationship seems picture-perfect, until the shadow of Joel’s ex-girlfriend, Francesca, begins to loom over everything. Francesca is beautiful, successful, and adored by everyone who’s ever met her. She’s supposed to be out of the picture, but Cassie can’t shake the feeling that she’s still around… watching. I suppose you can’t please everyone all the time and I know many readers disagree with my rating for this one.
