As soon as you tighten it, it's fine. I had surgery for my meniscus not too long ago, therefore I will only edit this post around Febuary. Based on the Fuji size chart, that would put me at the very top end of the size 4, or right in the middle of a 4.5. Based on that, I ordered a 4.5, but after a hot-water wash and hot tumble dry, the gi was still far too large. I ended up getting a 4, which fit perfectly after a wash and dry.
