Best Play Food Out There *by P***A on Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2017* If you've stumbled upon this Ikea Duktig set, you have found the Holy Grail of soft, stuffed, machine-washable play food! From HABA to HAPE and every single other eco, wooden play food set and brand one could buy (and I did, because Santa went, uh, insane fully stocking his play kitchen gift for Christmas two years ago)--out of ALL of those food items in the play kitchen, THIS (along with the fabulous Melissa & Doug Stainless Steel pots, pans and utensils set, as well as some of their canned and boxed "food" and their felt pizza) is THE food that my toddler plays with and uses nearly daily. She never (and I mean rarely) uses any of the wooden food, including the "cutting" board foods, etc.--(gasp! goes my pocketbook)--she goes for these IKEA foods each and every time. Excellent quality, craftsmanship, construction and durability; and this coupled with its affordability gives it off the charts value. VERY well made, ironically better made than items 5 times more expensive. (Leave it to the Swedes. Though you will have to cut their diabolical foot long tags off, it's worth it.) Pair the toddler "small stuffed item" obsession with, wait for it: CARRYING ITEMS like a felt shopping basket (with strong, removable velcro handle) and a veggie basket with HANDLES, for daily carting, toting, transporting and hoarding? Forget it. And forget all other play foods (okay, except for maybe the HABA plush stuffed whole roasted chicken with removable velcroed drumsticks; get that)--THIS SET is all you need for that play kitchen, food-wise! There is a plus sign between the two products implying that you get both. There is no option to choose one or the other again implying that you get both. I only received the vegetables. I expected them to be a little smaller than life size, but they are even smaller than that. Ideal for child hands. I Love how they look homemade. They are made of good quality. The manufacture tags on the product are very large and obnoxious but it can be cut off.
