An Invisible Home Cinema The 100ICLCR5 in-ceiling loudspeakers can be highlighted for their acoustics performances and compact design. Here is the masterpiece for your Home Cinema system (in dedicated rooms or living rooms) installed in the ceiling which reinforces classic Hi-Fi loudspeakers or in-wall loudspeakers. It is also ideal for very large rooms without any rear wall nearby. Five possible applications: front left front center front right rear left and rear right channels. This in-ceiling loudspeaker has a new aluminum inverted-dome adjustable tweeter which is more compact improving the sound dispersion. Its two drive units are also equipped with a new Polyglass cone (5 13 cm). A new crossover improves the off-axis listening and avoids the shower effect. Its three position switch allows choosing the left center or right channels to adjust the treble level. This product can be installed everywhere thanks to a compact design with the speaker drivers basket and chassis being redesigned as one only piece: with frameless square and circular front grilles. Review: speakers are amazing - got two of these for front left and right on 7.1 paired with a yamaha RX-A 1080 tweeters are adjustable for higher high and they can also be pointed in the direction needed these speakers are so clean and i could not be happier thx focal for a great speaker as allways if you have never heard a focal speaker you dont know what you are missing as i have said before speakers are everything on a system
Review: Calibration required - Once calibration was complete this speaker sounds amazing and solved all my problems. Before cailbration it had a hollow sound at certain lower frequencies.

**Q: Can this be used as a center channel?**
A: yes

**Q: Do these get anchored to joists or just the drywall? Seems like 11.5 pounds would be too heavy only being secured to the drywall but im not sure.**
A: These speaker's come with a strap to secure to joist were possible there were no studs were I put them in and have had zero issues other than they are very good speakers with excellent sound quality.

**Q: My condo patio has small overhang and wondering if these would be good for pushing sound outwards better than down facing ceiling speakers?**
A: yes

**Q: Can I use these for my Atmos theater setup?**
A: Definitely! They’d be awesome for front heights or any variation of Atmos setup.
