But this is something I used on my daughter because she had eczema. I never actually applied to her bum. It's like cocoa butter which is pretty greasy, so I wouldn't use with cloth diapers when applying to bum. I was a little hesitant using this on a fresh tattoo, because I had some weird idea that the oils in the butter would lift the ink, but I did it anyway because this stuff is so soothing. And it did not disappoint! It helped my tattoo heal weeks faster than previous ones, and kept my skin happy through the soreness, the flaking, and the itching!I don't have a baby, but I do have extremely sensitive skin that will occasionally flake out, or turn irritated and red, especially when the weather is cold or dry. Just a little bit of this baby butter soothes my skin; and usually, by the following day, my skin has healed over and is back to its normal self. The scent is lovely, too; sometimes when I am sick, I rub a little on my throat or near my nose because it's so comforting. Since I need it for chronic use, we go through quite a bit of it.
