It works great on scanning documents and receipts. At first I thought having to use the memory card would be an issue, but now that I have used it, I like it better. You can scan files using just the scanner (without it plugged into any computer). Makes it great when going through large sets of files or kids keepsake items. The fact it uses batteries and doesn't need a computer means we can leave it on an end table making it easy to quickly scan items in as needed. No worries about it taking up desk space or having to "go to the computer" just to put in a receipt. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little scanner *by J***C on Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2017* I'm loving this little scanner. Started using it Sunday and have scanned almost 1000 photos in my evenings​. Connected to my co.puter nicely, no problems changing it from a scanner to a drive to move the photos to my computer. I haven't used the wand as a stand alone scanner, and I purchased it because it had a dock. My only slight complaint is it can only use a max of 32g micro SD, I did not see this in the documentation and I purchased a 64 which I them had to return once I read on Amazon it can only use up to a 32. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Computer won't recognize it *by L***C on Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2016* My computer does not recognize it. I know that the cable is ok because it is charging so I don't know why the computer won't see it. I even re-started the computer.
