Video quality is great; low-light video could be better, but if you have a flashlight pointed in the same direction, it won't matter. The vibration and auditory beeps make it easy to identify what status the camera is in without looking at it (on/recording, standby, off).This camera is not intended for training scenarios or where prolonged exposure to high-temperatures is expected - BUT I have used it in live-fire training multiple times and it's still kickin. That being said, I do have a friend who managed to melt one of these while training, so be cognizant of the temperature and duration of exposure.Comes with two batteries, but I've used this on and off for an entire training day without needing to recharge or switch out batteries, still good to have just incase.The 16g sd card that it comes with is enough for quite a bit of recording, but if you do plan on using this for long training days, I would recommend a bigger card; Just make sure it's a class 6 or 10 memory card, according to the manual, it will not operate properly with other classes of cards.The mic location is in the back of the camera which means audio quality isn't great, it picks up the wearer's voice and anything behind pretty well but everything in front of the wearer is muffled or inaudible

The media could not be loaded. It was a great! I got some amazing HD quality videos at the GPSTC training center of live fire (but please note that condensation can build up in certain fire situations and fog the camera til you reach a high temperature environment)

Well, crap! Looks like im actually going to have to buy another one for myself! My son really likes the picture quality and ease of use! We dont know about the batteries yet, but soon, soon!

The camera did very well, the video quality is great but testing and practice is important. I hoped the video angle would adjust automatically, but the barrel of the camera must be positioned with the power switch "up" or the picture will be at an angle. Adjusting the date was dated, a ".txt" file edit was required, which was saved back to the camera. Other changes in the ".txt" file worked, but the date setting was lost when the camera was used.IMPORTANT: practice use and playback video before an event.The size and picture quality of the unit is great. Next time, I would purchase the model with blue tooth interface, so I could see what the camera was recording, in case I forgot to turn it on.

Shows good pictures great camera at a good price. Only thing is to set up the settings you want on the camera, it is not explained well in the instructions.

I wasn't expecting the video quality to be this good. I know it says 1080p, but so do allot of other cameras sold.This is honestly a great quality camera in both video quality, and ruggedness.Fire service quality. Money well spent.

Bought this for the hubby for Christmas; he loves it. Video and audio are both clear. I had a little trouble setting the date and time on the SD card but FireCam customer service was extremely helpful and stayed with me until I got it. Great customer service!!

This is a great cam. It's easy to use, takes awesome videos even in low light and has long battery life and recording time. I highly recommend!
