While he not aware of manufacturing standards for Cat-7 cables as opposed to a Cat-6, the connectors on this cable are a welcome improvement over the typical Cat-6 connectors with those fragile tabs. He also appreciates the flat wire design as he is a fanatic about reducing cable clutter. The flat wire allows the cable to it be placed out of sight...under the carpet and baseboard. As for technical performance, the cable performs as well as any ethernet cable he's used.
