**Q: Is this real live sphagnum moss? I know it says it is but a couple of the reviews says this is not sphagnum moss but some other kind.**
A: The live moss was dead, I hate it

**Q: Can you grow live moss from it?**
A: This is already live and will slowing spread. Over the past 2 weeks, I am noticing some of the tips are setting sporophytes. When those ripen,  drop and grow.

Beautiful moss, was a lovely green color on arrival. No extraneous plants or critters. I planted it among my sarracenia purpurea pitcher plants, and it's growing beautifully.

I don't know anything about moss, but I can see the color of it. I just received my package and about half is brown (which I assume means dead) and half is green (which I assume means alive). I was under the impression that this mass was all alive

dissappointedreceived the moss very fast, but when i received it. it was soaked. SUPER SOAKED! i immediately tossed it, since i could not use the moss for what i needed it for.if you want quality moss, spend the extra money.
