**Q: how many lb**
A: one cake recipe can make 4 loafs

**Q: Can lids be put in the oven?**
A: No, they are foil on one side but essentially they are a thin piece of cardboard. I tried meat loaf, removed the paper lid and covered with foil, but I did not think they baked well. Good luck and becareful, the edges of the aluminum are sharp.

These loaf pans are very well made and come in a nice sturdy box. I've ordered this type of thing before, sometimes the arrive in an amazon bag and a few bottom pans usually are squished. That won't happen if you purchase this brand. They're not deep enough for lasagna , but they're a perfect size for Banana Nut bread or Packaging cookies for gifts...

I bought these to make, freeze, and reheat individual servings of things like stuffed peppers or eggplant. As others have stated, these are lightweight and bend easily but the product description made that clear so there was no surprise there. Once full I didn’t feel a need to baby the containers as they felt sturdy enough. The lids are great. They are foil on the inside to go against the food and white on the outside so I can write what’s in each container along with the date and any cooking instructions. They come on a box so are protected and easy to store. I’d recommend them and will buy them again if needed.
