The BXB has a round silver tank and the GRB has a more square look. Both are offered in Black and White. Both makers do pretty much the same thing in the same amount of time. We chose the BXB just because i liked the way it looked compared to the other. If you choose one, I can honestly say you won't be disappointed..Hope this helped... **Q: Is it made in America** A: They have 4 manufacturing facilities in the USA and 1 in Canada. But they have warehouses and offices in other countries. All I could see on it was "Assembled in America" so I'm sure the parts came from other countries. **Q: Does this model have auto shut off?** A: No. The water tank remains on all the time to provide "instant" hot water for the next pot of coffee. And NO, the burner does not have an AUTO shut off either. You must turn the burner (to keep the brewed pot warm) on or off as needed. This is important to note and this model has the switch that lights up bright red to notify you the burner is still on. Be careful, we bought a more modern looking home Bunn and the burner switch is small with a teensy blue light in it that we've not noticed and have burned coffee in several pots now. We are getting this one to replace it! **Q: Isn't it expensive to operate with water being kept heated at all times?** A: The Bunn manual says it uses a 34 watt heater to keep the tank warm. This will consume less than one kilowatt-hour per day. Depending on what you pay for electricity, it will likely be in the neighborhood of ten cents a day, or a penny a cup for one pot a day. As others have said, well worth it for the convenience!
