**Q: Should Murphy's Oil Soap always be diluted?**
A: Have used this product for years and I would have to say yes. The reason is because it may leave a slight film when it is not diluted. Please know that I have, on occasion, used it straight in order to remove stains from my wood. 99% of the time, I dilute it, though. I hope that this answers your inquiry satisfactorily. A: You use 1/4 c. soap in 1 gallon of warm water.  I have never rinsed the floor afterward, but I do make sure that I get up all excess with a soft, dry towel or rag.

A: No absolutely not my experience! I have used Murphy's Oil Soap since I was a girl. My Mother had me cleaning real wood cabinets, real wood paneling, etc. Some of the benefits and uses of Murphy's Oil Soap are: It smells fresh; it cleans without leaving a soapy residue as long as you do not use too much; cuts through grease that you may encounter on cabinets and paneling; great in luke warm water for wood floors (not laminate). I love, love, love Murphy's Oil Soap.
