I wanted to love these very much. The sizing is perfect and the leather palm very well made. I did not, however, find them very warm given the money spent. I think they are good everyday gloves in mildly cold temps but I needed a spare set of gloves for my trip to Greenland and these did not keep me very warm while walking around town on windy days, even with technical glove liners, and even when above 0 degrees. Just too much penetration thru the knitting. I ended up using a pair of wool gloves from REI I got for $12 (which won't last as long but served my needs better).
