I guess only the manufacturer/supplier can answer that question. I have not noticed any discoloration...although I wear it outside on my shirt, which is preferred by me to show it. I do know that it is a strikingly beautiful medal with very clear features and message I have received many compliments on it. It serves to start meaningful conversations. IMO you can't go wrong with this Miraculous Medal. **Q: how can some say its beautiful and others say its going to turn green?i would love the combo but not if its going to turn green. can some one recommen** A: Been wearing it almost a year and it looks brand new. This has sort if a pewter finish: I don’t think it will ever turn green. If it does, it will be a beautiful green medal. **Q: Sterling silver ???** A: I really don't know....but doubt it since this costs $10, whereas a sterling silver medal is sold by Amazon for $60. **Q: Does it come with a lanyard? If not, do you sell one?** A: No this does not come with a lanyard. I purchased 2, I bought a SS chain for one and a key ring for the other. This medal is beautiful made well ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice piece to wear to church. *by N***A on 24 January 2025* I like the size and the clean image. Thank you Baby Jesus.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Too big, not practical! *by L***W on 12 July 2019* Loved this was too big though! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice *by C***T on 23 November 2023* Very nice, good size. I did add a clear coat of spray paint to be it so it doesn't discolor and because I tend to be allergic to fake silver. But haven't had any problems with it. Very nice medal. ## Frequently Bought Together - Miraculous Medal Pendant Extra Large -1.75" Oval Silver Oxidized Miraculous Medals Pendant for Necklace, Medals for Jewelry Catholic, Made in Italy - THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL - THE ORIGINAL ONE - 100% MADE IN ITALY - THE PATRON SAINTS MEDALS - RS Virgin Mary Necklace for Men Boys Miraculous Medal Stainless Steel Mary Mother of God Pendant De La Virgen Maria Medallion Holy Mary Charm --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/330987123-gifts-catholic-inc-mary-miraculous-medal-pendant-charm-extra-large](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/330987123-gifts-catholic-inc-mary-miraculous-medal-pendant-charm-extra-large) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
