**Q: Does the cable include the housing?**
A: the sheath is not included. Only the inside cable is included, and it is not long enough for use on long frame bikes, like the Townie.

**Q: will this work on a Huffy Rock Creek 18 speed**
A: This is a 7 speed shifter. It sounds like you have either a triple front with an 6sp on the back or a double up front with a 9speed rear so I doubt it.

**Q: The grips did not come with shifters, do i have to return the shifters & reorder?**
A: These are grip shifts.  They should come with everything in the picture, the grips and the grip shifts with the cables attached.  If you didn't get anything with cables attached, I would return it.

**Q: Will it work with sram x-13?**
A: Is your Shram derailleur set a 3x7, is your cassettes a 7 gear and crank set a 3? If so probably. Ive found the pull distance between a Shimano and a Shram are pretty close. I've used Shram cassettes with Shimano derailleurs and was surprised to find it to work pretty well. Although if you want hassle free shifters, get a set of manuals pull shifters. Yeah tuning in the right gear might be a little tricky, but you don't have to worry about saggy cables or mismatched shifters.
