Step two: realize the nut and metal post had formed a lifelong bond. Step three: introduce them to our grinder. Once we finally freed the wiper arm, the replacement went on smoothly and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Wipe. Cleanly. Quietly. Like a champ. We’re both happy with the end result and the wiper performs perfectly in actual rain. That said, Ford made a questionable design choice using two different types of metal that clearly enjoy fusing together forever. Fair warning to future buyers: a wiper blade extractor kit was also needed, and it definitely helped during the removal process. In the end, the job got done, visibility is restored, and the Escape lives to drive another rainy day.
Review: Great value - Excellent. Great price and easy to install. The most difficult part of the repair was removing the bushing on the old broken wiper arm. Once the old one is removed, installation is easy and quick. Like the fact that the new arm comes with a new bolt, a new wiper blade, and a 13mm wrench to complete the installation. Bonus, it also came with a nice chamois cloth.

This kit comes with everything you need. The cleaning cloth, nut, and wrench were clutch. Wiper blade does a pretty good job in the rain and is quiet. For the price, I wouldn't choose any other replacement kit. My 2014 Ford Escape really needed a replacement. The nut and bolt were rusted heavily. It took some elbow grease, but I got it off and this replacement was so easy to do. I was done in 15 min
