Figured out the noise being transmitted was almost entirely from the beater of my normal bass drum pedal hitting the electric trigger pad. I was skeptical that a beaterless pedal would that much quieter and was dead certain it couldn’t feel anything like a real pedal. Roland proved me wrong.
