A separate issue is that the 30-pin end does NOT snap or lock into position when plugged in. Not locking into position is annoying. Not charging makes this cable a waste of money. In no way was this cable worth $7.95 let alone the ~$45.00 the merchant suggests (as a marketing strategy to lure in buyers). Unfortunately, I can't return these 2 worthless cables. ### ⭐ Doesn't work *by A***O on January 10, 2018* The braided cable seems nice (if a bit stiff), but the fit into the phone itself is poor. The reason it gets 1 star is that it doesn't actually work. It will charge a dead phone to the point where it turns on, but after the phone comes on it stops charging. It acts like it's failing some kind of check once the OS is loaded, but there is no error message. Tried on 2 different iphones. Both phones charge fine with other genuine and generic cables we have. I waited to long to return it, so it's going in the trash. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Think pink *by V***S on March 19, 2017* I like these! They're the perfect length, they connect securely, they don't tangle, and they seem to charge my iPad in a fairly timely manner. And they're pink, which means they're cheery.
