It dried my skin out a bit but I expected that. I have extremely sensitive, acne prone skin and EVERYTHING breaks me out but this clay did not irritate my skin or break me out. I really didn't see any improvement in my acne though. It did make my skin slightly red for a few hours after use but it faded to normal by morning.
