Review: The product arrived quickly and was exactly as stated - Product was exactly stated Review: Cleans up easy with hot soapy water. - I'm using this ink for linocut printing. It doesn't dry out as fast as the water based speedball ink. Still had some grey spots that I had to touch up with a paintbrush. But for the most part I'm happy with the results. ## Features - Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Relief Ink from the UK - Artist-quality ink for non-toxic printmaking - Oil-based, but cleans up with soap and water - For all relief or block printing, letterpress and linocut - This is a 250gm tin of Black Caligo Relief Ink ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B003XMMDZC | | Best Sellers Rank | #344,058 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #680 in Drawing Inks | | Brand | Caligo | | Brand Name | Caligo | | Container Type | Can | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 12 Reviews | | Ink Color | Black | | Item Volume | 0.61 fluid ounces | | Item Weight | 9.76 ounces | | Manufacturer | Caligo | | Manufacturer Part Number | R187.055 | | Model Number | R187.055 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package Information | Can | | Paint Type | Oil | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Volume | 0.61 fluid ounces | | Warranty Description | No Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Caligo - **Ink Color:** Black - **Package Information:** Can - **Paint Type:** Oil - **Item Volume:** 30 Milliliters ## Images ![Cranfield Caligo, Safe Wash Relief Ink, 250gm Tin, Black, BKCI1860 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/712-DwwxTnL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The product arrived quickly and was exactly as stated *by W***R on August 20, 2025* Product was exactly stated ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cleans up easy with hot soapy water. *by I**** on October 31, 2024* I'm using this ink for linocut printing. It doesn't dry out as fast as the water based speedball ink. Still had some grey spots that I had to touch up with a paintbrush. But for the most part I'm happy with the results. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Still difficult to clean *by R***S on May 3, 2024* Another artist recommended this ink to me. I think it performs better for the actual print making itself, but it is not just as simple as using soap and water for clean up as they might have you believe. It took A LOT longer, and a lot of soap to clean up. ## Frequently Bought Together - Cranfield Caligo, Safe Wash Relief Ink, 250gm Tin, Black, BKCI1860 - Caligo Safe Wash Relief Ink - Opaque White, 150 ml - Speedball Deluxe Soft Rubber Brayer, 6-Inch --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/33177495-cranfield-caligo-safe-wash-relief-ink-250gm-tin-black-bkci1860](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/33177495-cranfield-caligo-safe-wash-relief-ink-250gm-tin-black-bkci1860) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
