I use this to hold my self-defense flashlight when I ride on the Santa Ana River bed. My flashlight is about a foot long and wanted it to be readily available. Normal bike pump holders didn't cut it however having two of these to hold each end of my flashlight did the trick and it makes my bike look mean. I hope I never have to use it for any unfortunate event, but I'm ready now due to this item. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Definitely NOT for securing something heavy *by S***K on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2020* I got this specifically for a bike u-lock. It's a heavy one, several lbs. That should be an issue, but this mount has a serious design flaw: one half gets strapped to one thing (a bike frame, in my case), and the other half gets attached completely separately to another thing (a bike lock, for example). The problem is that the only thing keeping those two things together is the tiny, weak strip of rubber in the mount.
