I don't know what's with the weirdo who left the same copy-pasted comment saying "OMG YOU'RE USING IT WRONG AND YOU ARE A MORON BURN IN HELL!!!1" comment for even other reviewers saying "yup, this is a CiA DS-102 to OBD-II DLC cable", but this cable is exactly the thing looking for if you're interested in CAN bus communication with an OBD-II data link connector using any of the myriad available CAN bus transceivers with DE-9 male conforming to CiA DS-102 pin recommendations.I'm not going to tear this cable apart to confirm that the CAN bus wires are internally a 20 AWG twisted pair but it does seem to do the job just fine. I'm pretty darned happy about this at any rate.
