## Questions & Answers

**Q: I see where you previously answered that it doesn't work with google voice and obi, but found on obi forum where they have used your converter to work**
A: Works pretty well with obi202. Obi202 only gives you enough time to dial about 7 digits however. The product is not perfect it doesn't use any power from the wall it only works off of line power available. The slower you dial the better it works. This conflicts with the amount of time available to dial a number on obi202. I guess long distance would not be possible without a secondary touch tone phone. On the obi202 setup page you will find you can preset your area code so it doesn't need dialed every time. If you do this then you only have to dial 7 digits usually. I love both products but you probably will need a touch tone phone. It does render an old phone usable maybe just for nostalgic reasons but the phone will dial out. I tried other pulse to tone converter that didn't work this seems to be the best option. It would be handy if the folks at obi202 could extend the amount of time with a software change that a person has to dial a number. I hope this helps you it's all I really know about it. I found this from trial and error. As far as Google voice goes, I'd say it's identical to the other service's on how this product works. 😀

**Q: How would I hook this up to a rotary wall phone? Is it necessary to attach it at the wall, or with the comcast box?**
A: You attach it to the comcast box and then plug the phone cord in to it.

**Q: I went from verizon dsl (my old phone worked) to verizon fios and my old phone does not work. has anyone had experience with this with fios? thanks**
A: NO! this unit does not work with FIOS. On old 350 sets.

**Q: Will this work with a rotary phone replica?**
A: This unit gives a pulse dialer the ability to send DTMF tones. Most of the rotary phone replicas already send DTMF tones and do not need this. This unit converts pulses to tones. Any phone that dials in pulse will work with this.
