A: Yes, but not like the ultra light weight biking backpacks.  This one does not have a frame or rigid parts but it is big so it is somewhat bulky.  But you could fold it up to put it in a box or a drawer.

Does not have a water reservoir hole for straw access, but that wasn’t too much of a bother. Held all of my clothes and gear just fine, no issues with material or wear, but cannot speak on how it holds up long term. Would recommend anyone needing a no-frills bag for about a 5 day trek/trip.
