The webbing gets uncomfortable in the hand as you get into the 30-pound range. I'm only carrying about 10 pounds, so it will work for me. It's also quite large. It actually is 19 inches tall not including the handles. Might be problematic for shorter people, but then again, the handles are long enough to sling over a shoulder if necessary. It does fold up very compactly, about the size of a magazine. I was surprised by how much storage space this has. it is very roomy. It is not sturdy in the frame but is sturdy in how well it held together. I bound it with shrink wrap and put it through the luggage conveyor. It arrived intact and let ~ 80 liters of clothes travel across the country. I emptied it and folded it up back in our suitcase for the next use, good as new.
