It was, admittedly, an easy project but I didn't read instructions or watch YouTube videos and I've never recovered a chair before so the results should have been not so great. I searched websites of several craft and fabric stores and Amazon. I chose this fabric from Amazon because and I really liked its appearance and the price and delivery timeframe were much better than similar fabrics at the other sites. When the fabric arrived, the color was perfect and the fabric texture matched the look. Some of the fabrics I found had printed patterns with a smooth texture. This fabric was exactly what I wanted. I was in only a moderately patient mood while I was doing my learn-as-you-go project. Then... surprise! Both chairs looked exactly as I had imaged. Well, I imagined perfection and they weren't quite perfect but they were perfect for my purposes.
