It's a corded device which needs to be plugged in always. The length of the cable is just sufficient to keep it on a table. But a quality extension cable can serve the purpose.

Do not buy this if you are not in India. Apparently the app doesn't work if you do not have an Indian number. Don't waste your money, I wasted my time with their customer service they take long to reply without any helpful replies.
