I would not use for suspension. It stretches down to 5mm under tension and from 12" to 13 1/2" **Q: The description says that is can be used in water conditions, but is it UV resistant?** A: No. I bought it and used it on a flagpole. Less than a month and it is deteriorating. I just got in new rope to replace it. **Q: What is the strength rating? Safe working load limit?** A: They only say light weight. I'd expect that since they say use for clothesline I probably wouldn't expect more than 100 pounds. If you want a stronger rope for the same price, buy some paracord 550 rope.
