Set of 50 4" x 4" tiles for your craft or construction project. Your set may not contain all the tiles in the image and a few duplicates are possible due to rotation of stock. The styles are influenced by the beautiful Spanish architecture in the Guanajuato state of Mexico from the time the Spanish inhabited the area starting in the 1520's. These tiles are can be used for a kitchen backsplash, in a bathroom, on stair risers or any other vertical service where you want to add a splash of color and Spanish Influence. Due to the handmade process the tile are nominally sized at 4" Care: We don't recommend using abrasive cleaners on our tile. A non abrasive cleaner containing alcohol will clean your tile to it's original gloss finish. Our Talavera is 100% First Quality-No Seconds or Apprentice produced.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are they exactly 4X4 or slightly larger**
A: yes,  no and maybe. They are hand made and are close to 4x4. We bought 100 0f them and none were larger than 41/4. Most were 4x4 give or take a small variance. Had about 5 broken in each box. Some had a slight bow in them. Some out and some in. We didn't bother w/ the bowed out and the bowed in don't show unless you really look for them. Over all, most pleased.

**Q: Can you use these in a swimming pool?**
A: Don’t know but I doubt it. They are clay. I used them as inserts on Saltillo tile patio floor. Used a high quality outdoor sealer. So far so good. But constant water and chemicals from a pool seems like a bad idea.

**Q: I would like to give these as wedding favors to be used as coasters.  Would they work and can someone tell me what the backside looks like?**
A: The backside is the natural material

**Q: Do the tiles or the paint or any other material used contain lead or other heavy metals?**
A: Good morning, these tiles are lead-free
