None so far have worked like TruForm compression socks, so I will just say it is the best I have found so far so if you have a need like I have, and just make sure what size and fitting you need as it seems like taking my own measurements and double checking the numbers and making sure the right height and all the options it gives you has made my fit better, so has been a new experience for me, and starting to look at the details has made a big difference in how they fit. I purchased my size according to the chart and they were not too tight or to loose while on, although they were thicker and more like medical grade stockings, and therefore harder to get on than all the others. As a result, I did not wear them but a few times because I didn't have time to struggle with them first thing in the morning. Then a couple of days ago I wore them and had a very bad experience which I did not know could happen. The top of the hose was just below the ball of my big toe all day. By bedtime the area had become quite uncomfortable. I removed the stockings and saw that the circulation had been cut off to my toes, especially my big toe and second toe and the ball of foot right beneath them. The ball of my foot was so swollen, I could not put pressure on it. I had to walk on my heel with the front of my foot raised. It has been two days now and the side of my foot, the ball of my foot, and in between my two toes if very darkly bruised. I will never wear open toe support stockings again. I threw them away. I just want to make others aware that this can happen, although I'm not exactly sure why it happened. The other foot was fine. I think maybe the stockings were not on straight at the toes, and half of my toes were being strangled as a result. Maybe it's not fair to give one star for this. The stockings are good quality.
