It was much brighter and higher definition than our previous one. The only problem I had was because I had not figured in the fact the lens was off to the left (It was hanging from the ceiling). The previous projector's lens was in the middle. So I had to off set the projector and then it would not properly fit in its space. My problem not the projectors. I cannot give it 5 stars however b/c I think it is the ultimate in cheap to have a projector that is advertised as "wireless," costs so much already, and require you to buy a separate dongle to communicate wirelessly. I mean criminey. Wireless recievers are so small and cheap, to not simply build one in as an integrated part of the projector is inexcusable. But, I needed this now, did not have time to shop for an integrated one, so I bought this. If you don't care about that, the projector would be 5 stars but I bought to use with my ipad in trial so now I use my apple tv which brings its own host of problems with trial soft ware and at times apple tv crashing.
