Review: This really works - It was like night and day (no pun intended) when using this product in terms of sleeping. I used to have a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep, but after using this product for a few days (with full effects maybe after a week of regular use) I was sleeping through the night, if only maybe getting up once to use the restroom (I drink a lot of water) but I would always fall right back asleep, which wasn't the case prior to taking GABA! I would highly, highly recommend this for anyone feeling anxious and/or having trouble sleeping, since it promotes relaxation of your central nervous system. Only thing to be cautious of, taking this without eating for a period time (I used to fast for 24 hours once a week) can produce some unpleasant though seemingly harmless (I can't be sure though since I'm not a doctor) side-effects. I would feel extreme tingling in my arms and torso, which was almost painful and definitely uncomfortable, as well as intense bouts of shortness of breath, which was also scary. I knew it was the GABA because I never had those sensations prior to taking GABA and I realized that eating regularly mitigates these side-effects. I am also a small person, 5'1" and 120lbs, so maybe the 500mgs twice a day is a lot for my system. I think after a while it suffices to take only pill per day, in the evening. My mother and my husband's mother have also been using GABA after hearing about it from me and they have reported the same benefits to their sleep at night.
