S.A.C (Stain Absorbing Compound) Powder to remove organic stains from most marble, granite, travertine, limestone and other porous natural stones. Natural stone stain remover powder. This is not a pre-mixed product. Powder designed to eliminate surface organic stains such as oil, grease, butter and other organic, non-acid stains S.A.C. will not remove inorganic stains such as rust or very deep stains. This is not a stone restoration powder. It will not polish the stone. It will not remove etch marks, commonly mistaken as "water spots" (chemical burns caused by acids such as fruit, vinegar, etc.). **Q: Does this work on quartz?**
A: Thank you for your question. S.A.C works on Quartzite, the natural stone. It does not work on Quartz, the engineered, man-made material.

**Q: Will this remove or lighten mold stains from unsealed travertine shower tile?**
A: No. For mold or mildew specifically, it would be best to use a specialized cleaning product that removes and controls this growth.

**Q: We have a backsplash that is probably marble or travertine and someone painted a large pineapple above the sink.  Will this safely remove the paint?**
A: No, S.A.C will probably not work on removing paint.

**Q: I removed the lid from a pot of boiling water and placed in on my counter top and it left a big mark. Will this poultice remove that embedded mark?**
A: It sounds as though the lid was extremely hot and may have burned the stone surface, based on your description. Unfortunately, S.A.C does not remove surface burns. The stone top will most likely need to be honed to remove this mark.
