I thought the same benefit would be experienced with a ceramic razor. However metal razors can bend to get into areas that require some flexibility to the skin. These ceramic blades have no give whatsoever and you have to press down really hard to get a close shave, which is nearly impossible. You feel like you are going to peel off your skin like a potato. Good idea, bad performance. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good razor, blades don't dull *by K***E on May 15, 2017* I have been using this razor for several weeks now, and am pleased with it. It has not dulled, despite regular use on my very coarse facial hair. It doesn't matter that this is marketed to women, it works well for men too.The two small things that keep it from being perfect are 1: the ceramic blades aren't as sharp as fresh metal blades, but they are sharp enough. 2: something about the construction of the razor (likely angle of the blades) makes it difficult to get a super close shave without making several passes over the same patch. It shaves well enough, but if you like baby smooth, then you will spend a lot of time with this razor. ### ⭐ Uncomfortable and unacceptable results *by J***E on September 28, 2017* I was very excited to try this product due my allergies to nickel. Unfortunately, when I tried it out today it felt like I was dragging the hairs off of my legs. The shave was not comparable to a regular razor and it was uncomfortable. I adjusted the pressure I was applying, shaving creams, soaps, etc., and in the end I gave up.
