The only problem I see is the pressure that these phones place on the ears. It will only allow you to wear them for about an hour at the time. it should also work in the speaker jack but I think you will only get mono sound. **Q: does over ear mean headphones surround the ears or perch over the ear?** A: The padded part of the headset goes onto the ear, it almost covers all of my ear.
