Because the mug is straight-walled and does not taper at the bottom, it does not fit in most cupholders. If you have a large cupholder that has a slot for the handle, it might work. Otherwise, this does not fit in a cupholder. **Q: How many hours does this kept coffee hot?** A: Only 3 hours hot **Q: I prefer the part you are drinking from to be fairly flat which makes it easier to drink from. How thick is the lip where you drink from the cup?** A: The lip is standard to most insulated drink vessels. **Q: Can you drink ok without the lid?** A: Yes, drinking was no problem.
