Review: Silky smooth pages, very premium, but not pure white - I’ve used HP Premium 28lb paper for a few years for printing things that matter, and I’ve always been satisfied with the results. I also use 32lb paper when I want to make an impact or have something that feels nice to hold. However, this 28lb paper from Hammermill… it’s very nice! I can only describe the feel of the pages as silky smooth. Almost like plastic, it’s so smooth. I love the feeling it gives my fingers as I flip through printed pages. However, it’s sold as 100 bright white, and I don’t believe it is fully 100. It does have a very light “ivory” tinge to it, compared to my HP Premium paper that is also 100 bright white. It is nicer feeling though. And to me, that matters a bit more. And it’s available unlike the HP paper, which is constantly out of stock. It runs smoothly through my Xerox Phased dye sublimation printer, and my HP laser printer. Text jumps off the page. And your fingers can feel the raised ink and toner of the print, which adds a tactile feel. Highly recommend.

I’ve used HP Premium 28lb paper for a few years for printing things that matter, and I’ve always been satisfied with the results. I also use 32lb paper when I want to make an impact or have something that feels nice to hold. However, this 28lb paper from Hammermill… it’s very nice! I can only describe the feel of the pages as silky smooth. Almost like plastic, it’s so smooth. I love the feeling it gives my fingers as I flip through printed pages. However, it’s sold as 100 bright white, and I don’t believe it is fully 100. It does have a very light “ivory” tinge to it, compared to my HP Premium paper that is also 100 bright white. It is nicer feeling though. And to me, that matters a bit more. And it’s available unlike the HP paper, which is constantly out of stock.
