Review: Works for zinc lids - Bought these to use with the old Zink canning lids. They fit well and stay in place once installed. For now I am using the lid just for storage but I am curious to see how they will work for dry canning. I will order more in the future.

**Q: What is the thickness of this gasket?**
A: This is a guesstimate as. I don't have access to them right now but I would say about 2 mm thick.  You will notice a slight difference when closing the lid when using these gaskets.  I'd say they are very useful and seal very well.  I know I will be buying more.

**Q: what are the actual dimentions of the outer and inner ring?**
A: The actual dimensions are:
Inside Diameter - 2.00"
Outside Diameter - 2.75"
Thickness - 0.0625" (1/16")

**Q: It says they are 'regular' at 2.75" diameter, but a regular Mason jar's mouth measures 2-5/8" How do they fit regular jars?**
A: They fit in the white twist-on lids.  When screwed down on top of the jar, the mouth of the jar hits the centerline of the ring perfectly.

**Q: I have wood lids for canisters that need new gaskets. The measurement is good but will they fit into the groove of the wooden lid?**
A: I use them on metal lids. The gasket is 3/8" wide & 1/16" thick. I hope this will help.

Bought these to use with the old Zink canning lids. They fit well and stay in place once installed. For now I am using the lid just for storage but I am curious to see how they will work for dry canning. I will order more in the future.

Nice to have a way to seal all the mason jars in my pantry with non-rusting lids! The freezer lids alone still allow those tiny bugs to sneak into my grains and nuts, but not with these.
