To the other reviewers complaining that this was thin or see through: well, yes, this is gauze. It is not suitable as a single layer, and if you're going to use it for clothing, you need multiple layers or gathers in select places. It has a lovely drape, and washed up quite nicely. It didn't ravel nearly as much as I expected, so I'm very pleased with this purchase. That being said, if you don't really know which material is which, go to an in-person shopping location.
