It really keeps the heat up and on. I've never seen this in exclusively electric heaters. This heater works so well, I have to turn off when the outside warms up above 40 degrees F or it stays almost too hot. I live in Texas so I only need this 2 or 3 times a year. This would really be best if you get more extreme cold weather but also have access to reliable electricity output as this is fuel filled but electric.
