Got this NEWCARE 1 in 3 out Optical audio-splitter, and routed my smart TV audio O/P through that splitter to my Sony ULT TOWER 9AC and BOSS Gigcaster 8 (the 3rd O/P is unused at present). There's no signal loss even when both the split O/P are active, although I'll be using one line at any given time. This way I use the Sony ULT TOWER 9AC for Karaoke - with the option for scale/pitch-change. The BOSS Gigcaster 8 (mixer and effects-processor) is used mostly when I play any instruments (Guitar, Harmonica, Sax, etc...). This device is well-made, compact, and provides the intended signal-split. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Funciona muy bien *by E***O on 22 May 2022* Excelente, funciona muy bien, lo uso para conectar 2 sistemas de audio y unos audífonos, todo lo que se conecte se puede usar al mismo tiempo ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great if you need 2-3 optical inputs and you can live with PCM stereo *by J***S on 1 February 2025* I have a Samsung OLED (90C) that does actually have an analog audio output (3.5mm) but it is very noisy, producing lots of squelching from EM interference. This tv also has optical audio output and can even use USB DACs. I had settled on using a Schiit DAC to send audio from the TV to my soundbar, but periodically the tv wouldn't detect the DAC and would then switch back to internal speakers, which was frustrating. Other times, it would send a horrifying, loud screech to the DAC which was then passed to the soundbar. I couldn't use the optical output for my soundbar because that was going to my Sennheiser wireless tv headphones (TR185, which are awesome). However, optical still seemed to be the best output option on this tv in terms of reliability and signal quality. I guess there's also eARC, which in my experience is endlessly flaky, and I needed all my HDMI ports for other things. All of that is to say, this little box solved my issues. I power it from the usb port on the TV, and it splits the tv's optical output to the Sennhesier headphones and my soundbar. I can use both simultaneously if I want, sound quality is great, and everything stays in sync. Of course, this box won't help anyone wanting HDMI audio for Atmos or other cutting edge surround formats, but I'm limited to stereo through the headphones or soundbar, which I use for space-saving reasons, so in my case it's perfect. I tuck it back behind a shelf and its out of sight, out of mind. My only gripe is that it has no visible indicator that it's working; no LED or anything. But if you are getting sound, that means it's working.
