The packaging does not look like the bogus pictures in the Amazon product description, and it looks like a medium mesh instead of the fine mess I expected for straining matcha tea powder. I'll try to use it until I can find a real fine mesh strainer, but I guess I should have been suspicious of a low price for something claiming to be so widely used in Japan. Maybe I should just toss it in the Goodwill bag. The company should be honest in what it is selling, since a cheap medium mesh strainer may be OK for certain applications some folks might need.
