Review: Bon achat - Fonctionne très bien pour ma sorte de foyer
Review: 7/8 inch Graphite Gasket for my Pellet Stove - This gasket was the right size for my pellet stove, with about a foot to spare. After removing the old one, & cleaning the channel, this was easy to put in. I'm a 68 yr old gma, & I got it done including cleaning the stove, and removing the old cement in less than an hour. I used a flat screw driver to chip away the old stuff, and a metal battery brush to further clean the channel. I washed the entire door to remove ash. I then rewet the channel and put a bead of cement all the way around it. I spread the cement with my finger, then without stretching the rope, put in in the channel, starting at the top left, heading down. I taped as I went to hold it in place. At the seam, I cut off the excess, and added a little extra cement. Then I shut to door to ensure a good seal. I opened the door and let it set for over an hour, removed the tape, then started the pellet stove. I ran it for an hour or so, then turned it off. The morning I ran it as usual. Great fit & easy to do! I did not remove the door, to install the gasket! Saved myself over $200 doing this myself.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked very nicely.
*by R***. on 25 January 2019*

The glass in the door of my Legacy stove had slipped down creating a gap at he top off the glass. This product was a perfect fit replacement for the existing gasket. The installation went very well. I thoroughly cleaned the door where the gasket is placed. The adhesive is great. I was worried that sticking to a rough cast surface might be a problem; it wasn't. It took me a couple of tries while installing the first couple of inches of gasket to figure out the way to orient the gasket to ensure the edge of the glass would be completely surrounded by the gasket. The gasket adhesive was forgiving enough to allow for some repositioning. Overall the installation was easy and turned out nice since the glass is up where it belongs and because of that the glass stays cleaner as it is not blocking the primary air/ air wash ports. (Cannot yet rate the durability.)
