This is our second dog to use this dog cot. Our frame is 13.5 years old and we just now replaced only the cover. It does not get mouldy. Does not stay wet. Keeps the shape you see all the time. We have two cots for two different dogs in our family and we all love this product. Even if you need to purchase an entire new cot, just do it, we would. The best part is that as your dog ages it keeps them off of the concrete patio and better for older age arthritis.
