## Questions & Answers

**Q: This product, do I need to keep it refrigerated?**
A: You do not need to refrigerate it ; however, it is organic so refrigerating it can help extend the shelf life in warmer climates such as mine. I live in the Sonoran Desert. Once opened the bags will last approx. 6 weeks.

**Q: Any tips on how to convert a stubborn parakeet to this?**
A: My two little parakeets are stubborn as well. The exotic animal vet told me that to take all seeds like nutra berries away and just give them pellets, this is called cold turkey.  But, keep very close eye on their droppings that they stay formed and not runny. I did give them their veggies as well. This is day 3 and so far so good. They are pooping well :o). But I also gave them that Harrison's super fine high potency food.  They seem to like the smaller pellets tho.  Just be very careful cuz a parakeet can starve to death in like 48 hours. I wouldn't do it unless you are home all day and don't have a job.

**Q: What is in this?**
A: This is a concentrated nutritional powder for birds. It is wonder for birds that have been ill or have been suffering from malnutrition. It also helps during molting. I give this to my budgies 1 week every month as a nutritional boost.

**Q: Is this pellet or oat meal can I trow this in there seed mix or add pellets.**
A: It is a finely crushed hard meal type consistency.  I feed it alone or mix it with another mash type food, but it can be easily added to any other foods.  Green cheek Conure seems to enjoy it best out of all the Harrison foods.
