Please note: - The U.S. Food and drug administration considers the metallic-finish dragees to be inedible, and they are sold with a notice that they are for decorative purposes only. Although the metallic-finish dragees can be purchased in 49 U.S. States, they are no longer sold in California due to a 2003 lawsuit against several sellers. The comfit, already well-known in the Roma Empire as a simple almond coated with honey and served during exclusive marriages and feasts, has nowadays various colours depending on the different ceremonies, happy events or important occasions.Marriage comfits, as well as those for the First communion and confirmation are white; light blue or pink are those right for the baptism, and green for the engagement. Different colours are instead those right for the degree, accordin to the colour of the typical student's hat (feluche).Amarischia's "La Confetteria del Cuore" ("Confectionery of the heart") is enriched with various flavors and elegant packaging. "Confetteria del Cuore" by Amarischia has always been at the forefront of both development and innovation and providing quality products which are personified by a new range of products comprising more than 100 items. The "Preziosi" represent the spearhead of this range. Starting from those ones obtained with the precious Avola almonds from Sicily till the Gluten-free sugared almonds, this large range meets the tradition and at the same time the updated consumers' demande.
