Because you fill them up with ice and water, I didn’t need to keep remembering to put it back in the freezer or anything, and could use it consistently as long as I had ice at the ready! You can also control how fill and heavy you want the ice pack to be since you fill them, and they are the perfect shape and malleable enough to fit on awkward shaped parts of the body (like my jaw/cheek).
